The material is great! More than I expected. I am 5'11", so I always have this problem where things are too short for my height, but this one is perfect. I am about 183 lb, and I ordered the L. It is a little loose on top, but I don't have that much bust, and I am Large in the bottom and Small in the top, so I always have that problem. My size pants are 12. So if you are 12, Large is the right one for you. I use a belt on top for more compression.

I’m stunned by how comfortable this is for me, I had my 3rd c-section in October 2025 and I got this in January 2026 because my core feels like it still could use some support as you begin workouts again, I am pretty much exclusively breastfeeding and the slip clips are easy enough to take off & on. It would obviously be easier with a flip snap style-but very doable. Sometimes the strap falls behind my shoulder and I have to set my baby down to bring it forward & reconnect when I’m done...
